H.E. Hon. Andrew Mwadime

Chairperson ,Water Committee, CoG and Governor County Government of Taita-Taveta

H.E. Hon. Andrew Mwadime, is the current Governor of Taita Taveta County and Chairperson of Water, Forestry and Natural Resources Committee in the Council of Governors.
He did his O-level education at Aldinah Visram High school Mombasa, A-levels at Kenyatta High School Taita, Bachelor of science education (mathematics) at Kenyatta university, Masters in Business Management (economics option) at Nairobi university and Post graduate Diploma in Banking, He Prior to joining politics, Hon. Mwadime began his profession as a teacher at
Tarrassa boys in Tana river county, Deputy headmaster at Ngangao secondary school.
He switched careers and moved to KCB bank as a graduate trainee and rose through the ranks to the position of regional manager coast region, and later to country head KCB Tanzania. He was promoted to Head of card business KCB east and central Africa.
He later joined politics to become a Member of Parliament in Mwatate constituency following Kenya’s General Elections in 2013.
